Dublin , Ireland - The WildLight Channel, a short movie channel aimed at mobile phones, scooped the Award for Best Mobile Content at the Irish Digital Media Awards, held in Dublin on Wednesday 1st February at the Burlington Hotel.

The Channel which is live on Vodafone, beat of stiff competition from 3, RTE and Access Music to take the top honours.

The Channel specialises in short form film content aimed at a mobile audience and showcases some of the most innovative, fun and original work from around the world.
The channel, which is initially aimed at 3G phones, features animations and live-action shorts that are particularly suited to small screens and a mobile audience.
The Channel was created by leading mobile media company Wildwave, in conjunction with the Darklight Film Festival.
